This promotional article has some merit given that the author is advocating the ‘highest standards’ of treatment for our patients. However, it is important that Zalea provides fair and balanced information for its readers. As a dermatologist, I work closely with my plastic, facial plastic and oculoplastic colleagues, all of whom are board certified and have similar training in many aspects of aesthetic (cosmetic) surgery. And all have contributed to the science of aesthetics.

In this spirit of collaboration, Zalea seeks truth, objectivity and evenhandedness. As Editor of Zalea, I would advise prospective patients to seek out board certified physicians who have been well trained, who are experienced, and who treat their patients with kindness and distinction.
